The Ceremony
For a religious ceremony, contact one of the many Houses of Worship on St. John. No matter which religion you choose for your ceremony, officiants are sure to be available to accommodate you. A civil ceremony may be performed by those licensed by the Territorial Court.

Make It Legal
To make your St. John dream wedding a reality, first request an application for a marriage license from the Territorial Court of the U.S. Virgin Islands.   Mail your request to:

After the completed and notarized application is received in the islands, there is a required minimum eight-day waiting period. If either party is divorced, he or she must have a certified copy of the divorce decree or a notarized affidavit stating when the divorce was granted. The marriage application fee is $25 and the marriage license fee is $25 (U.S. dollars).
